About the Role

Livepeer is looking for an Analytics Engineer to help us better understand network dynamics and participant actions. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with exposure to Marketing, Community, and Product. The focus of this role will be to lay the groundwork for our data efforts and leverage data from our subgraph, archive node, and internal REST APIs to build several Retool dashboards and respond to ad hoc requests. For the right individual, this is a unique opportunity to shape the Livepeer Network’s approach to data.

Responsibilities

Build reporting dashboards for critical product and marketing workflows using Retool
Work with internal teams to develop high-quality metrics for understanding activity on the Livepeer Network
Push Livepeer forward by imagining and implementing new ways to segment and visualize data from the Livepeer Network

Ideal Candidate (Must Haves)

Comfortable retrieving and manipulating data from SQL and graphQL databases
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience communicating technical concepts in clear and concise language
Experience with JS, Python, or another scripting language
An understanding of core blockchain concepts like block time, gas prices, nodes, etc.
High level of proficiency with Retool
Background in data analytics and an interest in web3 data
